Why we built it

In all four countries most people who buy insurance do it through an agent, a bank or a dealer, often in a hurry and with little to compare. The rules — what is compulsory, who is licensed, where to complain — are public, but they are spread across Acts, regulator circulars and PDF lists.

Tulinde brings those rules together in plain English, one country at a time, with a link to the official source for every fact. When you are ready, it passes your request to licensed providers so you can compare real offers.

What Tulinde is — and is not

• It is a free guide, and a way to ask several licensed providers for a quote at once.
• It is not an insurer, an agent or a broker. We do not sell, price, underwrite or pay claims.
• It does not rank insurers or publish ratings. Being on our lists means a company is licensed by its regulator — nothing more.
